Assets and Resources of India’s Soft Power

India is a country which laid great emphasis on acquisition of knowledge (Gyan). It was a practicing knowledge society devoted to seek more and more knowledge in diverse fields such as health, longevity (Ayurvigyan), mathematics, botany, chemistry, physics, statistics, environment, climate, agriculture, animal husbandry, astronomy, philosophy, literature, language and several other fields. Consider this pithy vocation: “Gyanam paramam dhyeyam”. It translates into Attainment of knowledge is the highest goal.

The International Yoga Day June 21, 2015

Yoga means self-control essentially. If you can exercise control over your organs, faculties, thoughts or speech, you attain the stature of a Yogi or Yogini. It is a state of physical as well as mental health in a nut shell. It is neither magic nor wonder. It is the layman’s science, the technique of the trained and the secret of good health. Health is the most precious of all possessions of any individual. It is simply a self-achievement. It is the key to happiness. It helps one attend to all other normal functions of daily life. Isn’t it worth practicing?
